The canary stamp will be present on the animation market MIFA, parallel meeting to the International Film Festival of Annecy, in France. The Canary Island Film, that represents the private and public entities of the sector on Canary Islands and promotes them like a cinematographic destiny, will be there to stablish links and to potentiate the animation film industry on the islands.
The MIFA is the best known market of animation around the world, where the professionals of animation from sevety four countries will meet, and where four canary producers has received Canary government support to move to there.
In there, the envoys of the Canary Island Film have more than thirty planned meetings with internacional producers, with the goal of introduce the advantages of Canary Island to the audiovisual sector.
To this year, the Canary Government has agreed with the entities of the Canary Islands Films the assistance to a total of 14 fairs and markets linked to the audiovisual production.
